1980s Scout Den Wooden Placard **Good Ole Days!!
This piece takes me back to the 80s and the good days of the Scouts and troop 999 in the midwest. The Scouts just aren't what they used to be anymore. π This piece is such a good representation of the sense of community and pride from back in those days. The animal themes always made the projects better and gave us all a reason to want to get back to nature as soon as possible. I don't know anything about this piece personally, but for any Scout out there now all grown up, this is a great reminder of much simpler times. It's the small things right?!
CONDITION: SEE PHOTOS. This is a vintage craft project from around the 80s. The placard still has some life in it. The wood structure is sturdy and can easily be installed. The paint has character and some spots from age, storage, and handling. The long crack on the pack is just a layer of missing press board and doesn't impact the integrity of the wood if you plan on hanging or mounting on a wall. The heads have cracks and chips and are made of plaster. The heads spin a little as they are held on be the screws.
IMPORTANT: I took pictures so you know exactly what you are getting. Please review before your purchase.
