1940s J. Salmon Ltd "Beatrix Knighting Esmond" The Academy Jigsaw Puzzle No. J809 **Seven Oaks England

Although the puzzle, "Beatrix Knighting Esmond", is still pretty neat, this box is what mostly got my attention.🤩 Amazing packaging with that art nouveau flare! This puzzle is INCOMPLETE, missing 2 of the 125 pieces (SEE PHOTO). 10" x 7". J. Salmon Ltd was historically a publishing company out of Sevenoaks, England and made puzzles from the 1920s to 1955. This particular set would be around the late 30's to mid 40s before the packaging started going through different iterations.

CONDITION: Vintage in great condition. There are 2 of the 125 pieces missing (SEE PHOTOS). The box has a concave warp or buckle on the face due to age. One of the corners on the top is split.
