1920s Victorian Style Copper Finish Door Backplate w Keyhole **Brilliant Design!!

This copper finish victorian style keyhole and knob backplate has plenty of character and plenty of life left in it. Stamped backplates like this one became more popular over cast iron in the 1920s post WWI era when the popular demand for mass-produced hardware began to increase. The patina and colors on this design is such a perfect balance for that vintage aesthetic. The plate is likely stamped steel with copper plating.

DIMENSIONS: 6 7/8" L x 2 1/4" W. Center holes are 5 3/4".

CONDITION: This is vintage in good condition. No major visible flaws such as bends, punctures, breaks, cracks or repairs. There is some rust in some spots (SEE PHOTOS).
