1920s Art Deco Style Doorknob Backplate w Keyhole

This art deco style keyhole and knob backplate has plenty of history and plenty of life left in it. Stamped backplates like this one became more popular over cast iron in the 1920s post WWI era when the popular demand for mass-produced hardware began to increase. The plate is steel and has white paint from the previous owner.

DIMENSIONS: 6" L x 1 3/4" W. Center holes are 5 1/4".

CONDITION: This is vintage in good condition. No major visible flaws such as bends, punctures, breaks, cracks or repairs. There is some rust on the backs (SEE PHOTOS).
